I want to update you on what God has been saying to me regarding the change of seasons in my life.  Just to refresh your memories, in July of 2025, I shared that the Holy Spirit had made it clear that when the projects we were working on were finished, I was to transition out of writing books—or at least publishing books.

Then in March of 2026, I said I’d had a “knowing” in my spirit that my focus was to change from doing book launches/book signings to doing messages in churches. Although sending out letters and one sheets to pastors and churches didn’t bear much fruit, God said I shouldn’t be discouraged but should continue to wait on Him.

As I waited, instead of writing books or articles, I began to work on a message based on my life verses, Romans 12:1-2. As I continued to read and revise this message, my assurance grew that this was, indeed, a message for the body of Christ, but God would have to open the doors. 

Last Sunday was my first open door to use this message at the church where Donn was raised, the Masontown Mennonite Church. Unbeknownst to me, they videotape their messages. I was delighted when I saw it on Facebook and requested a copy of the link to share with you.

Esther Opal Rankin, a member at Masontown Mennonite Church, gave us an introduction last Sunday using Joshua 1:9 which prompted me to add some content before the beginning of my message, but that too I believe was Spirit led. My message, as well as the presentation of it, received a very warm reception from those who attended, increasing my belief that it is a message God wants me to take to the body of Christ. One woman said it was very challenging.

In my message, I mentioned many of the different roles God had given me to play over the span of my life as I made of my body a living sacrifice. Afterward, one gentleman said he believed that in my next season, I should be a preacher, that it seemed like I had that gift.

While I haven’t felt led, thus far, to be a preacher per se, I believe God has given me a gift to deliver this message on Romans 12:1-2 to the body of Christ in the season we’re in. Would you pray with me that if that is God’s plan, He would open doors for it to be received? I’ll be happy to send one sheets about my life and my books to anyone who is interested.

Heavenly Father, would you open and close doors and guide our steps to the places where you want us to be. Make us willing to make of our bodies living sacrifices to accomplish the purpose for which we were created. Amen.
